Most people moving to the DC area know roughly where they want to be. The hard part is choosing. McLean, Vienna, Arlington, Falls Church and Great Falls can look similar on a map and feel completely different once you live there. That's the question Rick spends most of his time helping clients answer.

Rick works mainly with luxury, relocation and move-up clients across Northern Virginia, and still serves clients in Maryland. Before sales, he bought, renovated and flipped homes, so he walks into a house looking at the foundation, the roof, the lot, and what it would really cost to change the things you don't love. That background matters most at the high end, on custom homes, new construction, and lots where the land is worth more than the house. He recently represented the buyer on an $8.5 million sale in Langley Forest in McLean, Virginia.

For clients flying in to tour, Rick builds a custom itinerary for each visit: the neighborhoods to drive, the streets to walk, where to grab coffee, and how the commute actually feels. That way a short trip turns into a real decision.

He also runs Living in Greater DC on YouTube and Instagram, covering luxury neighborhoods, schools, commutes and what's changing around the region. Many of his clients watch for months before they reach out and arrive already understanding the trade-offs.

Rick grew up in Northern New Jersey, graduated from the University of Maryland in 2008, and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two kids. When he's not working or in front of a camera, you'll probably find him playing golf, taking quick trips with his family, or roaming around Barnes & Noble adding more books to his "to be read" list.
